Ganesha Rudraksha

If a rudraksha of any mukh gets a protrusion on its body similar to the trunk of an elephant, this rudraksha is called Ganesh rudraksha. A trunk like elevation, as it can be seen on the face of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva, can be seen on the surface of our Ganesh Rudraksha. The person who wears this Rudraksha is showered by the Lord Ganesha’s blessings. At the commencement of any occasion, Lord Ganesha is the first to be worshiped.

Some people get obsessed with the image of Ganesh in rudraksha to such an extent that they look for the contours on the surface of any rudraksha resembling Lord Ganesh. All these varieties and others not explained and available from nature are refered by people who use them in the hope of deriving benefits. No authentic information is available about specific properties of these beads. If one wishes to use such rudraksha, it should be done with full devotion and the wearing procedure shall be the same like other rudraksha and mantra.
